The third Case Study was run in partnership with the Greater London Authority and took place at City Hall in the Council Chamber. The day explored SDGs 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
The day started with a presentation on building technologies by WikiHouse followed by a presentation on the challenges faced by the UK’s largest regeneration project, the OPDC. In the afternoon, the students heard from Arborea and their quest for carbon-neutral buildings and Naked Energy who spoke about how they are helping organisations heat buildings with their sustainable solar cell technology. Finally the GLA showcased their revolutionary London Infrastructure Map, a forward-looking approach to infrastructure planning and delivery.
